As the name suggests, this was the gardener's cottage where the apples and other garden produce was stored! Nowadays, it has been fitted out to the highest standards and is possibly our most popular cottage. Following refurbishment Applebarn now has three upstairs bedrooms, two doubles (one en-suite) and one twin plus a family bathroom with Victorian-type rolltop bath.
Downstairs is the dining room/kitchen, fitted out with modern units, including cooker, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils and all the crockery and cutlery needed for up to 6 people. There is downstairs toilet and washbasin.
The lounge has a DVD, TV and video complete with a tape for recording programmes and also a CD stereo. The main entrance is from the courtyard parking and there is direct access onto a small garden area from the lounge.
The cottage is centrally-heated and there is a direct telephone line (outgoing calls costs extra).
