All stays with us are now Longer lets (fixed duration, or rolling 4 weekly if more than 12 weeks). We no longer offer weekly stays or short breaks.

All upcoming availability is shown here as soon as we know! This is usually around a month beforehand as current guests have to give us 28 days notice of leaving. Sometimes we can take bookings for longer stays further in advance.

All our accommodation is fully furnished and prepared to the highest standards with all essentials included (pots, pans, cutlery etc).

So, how does it work?

Is everything furnished? Yes. Unless otherwise shown, our cottages and apartments are fully furnished with all pots, pans, glasses, plates etc. 

Is bedding provided?  Most people prefer to bring their own, but we can make up all beds plus, towels and tea towels on request (no extra charge)

What about bills?  We invoice four weekly in advance. Our prices are inclusive – except VAT (where applicable), heating, electric and water (which are metered and invoiced by us at cost).  There is high speed wi-fi, Freesat (around 175 channels) with iPlayer and Netflix compatible and Freeview. You won’t have to register for Council Tax and there will be no other fees, security deposits etc.  

Can you offer cleaning services?  Your accommodation will be fully prepared to the highest standards for your arrival and should be left in a satisfactory condition. If you need cleaning services, we can suggest one of our friendly contract housekeepers.

What about pets? One or two (maximum) well behaved dogs are allowed to stay in one of our cottages, but not in the apartments. Other pets (hamsters, goldfish etc) are by advance arrangement. We’re sorry but we don’t accept cats.  

Is there still a gym? the old leisure facilities are now closed

What is the minimum/ maximum stay and notice period?  You can either book a fixed period (minimum 28 nights) or an open-ended stay (minimum of 12 weeks). There is no maximum stay but we need at least four weeks notice of leaving, please.

How much? Our longer lets are cheaper than holiday stays. If you’re planning a lengthy stay, our prices may initially appear a bit more expensive than an Assured Shorthold Tenancy. Remember though, that nearly all your costs are included with us.  You won’t be tied to a 6 or 12 month fixed contract, won’t need to be ‘vetted’ by a letting agency, won’t have to pay a security deposit and won’t have to sign-up separately with all the electric, water, gas, telephone and wi-fi companies or find yourself a window cleaner and someone to cut the grass!

How far ahead can I book?  Generally a month before arrival for an open-ended (minimum 12 weeks) stay. For less than 12 weeks, you can usually book further ahead.
