We don’t have any cottages available at the moment. Next availability not expected before late summer. Please fill out enquiry form to register interest for a winter let.
We are not attempting to return to our normal self-catering model this year. Only longer stays will be possible (months rather than weeks) and only booked up to a shortly before arrival. All stays will be at a heavily reduced rates but won’t include things like mid-stay housekeeping services or the shared leisure facilities. Accommodation will be fully furnished and prepared to the highest “We’re Good To Go” standards with all essentials included (pots, pans, cutlery etc). Our stays this year are aimed at people needing to be in Ilkley for an extended period – maybe a job move, moving house or having major work done at home.

So, how does it work?

Is bedding provided? Unless you wish to bring your own bedding, we will make up all the beds and leave sets of towels, t-towels etc.

What about bills? Your bills will be included in the one price – heating, electric, Freesat (or Virgin Media) TV etc. You will not have to register for Council Tax and there will be no other fees, deposits etc.

What about Covid?  We have acquired the Industry Standard mark “We’re Good to Go” from Visit England for our cleaning protocols and social distancing measures. You must observe all current national and local restrictions.  The shared leisure facilities here won’t be re-opening.

Can we make a group booking? Sorry, no; The Main House is unavailable and you can’t book multiple properties.

What about pets? A well behaved dog is allowed to stay in one of our cottages, but not in the apartments. Other pets (hamsters, goldfish etc) are by advance arrangement. We’re sorry but we don’t accept cats.  

What is the minimum/ maximum stay and notice period?  28/ 180 nights. We ask for you to pay four-weekly in advance of each four-weekly period and give us four weeks notice of leaving or wishing to extend your stay (subject to availability).

How much? Our longer lets are much cheaper than holiday stays, because our costs are lower. If you’re planning a lengthy stay, our prices may initially appear more expensive than an Assured Shorthold Tenancy. Remember though, that all your costs are included with us.  You won’t be tied to a 6 or 12 month fixed contract and won’t have to sign-up with the electric, water, gas and telephone companies etc. We still have to charge VAT during the summer (currently 5% and shown in our prices).

How far ahead can I book?  We are only offering stays booked not more than around 28 days ahead.

The Main House is currently unavailable but The Old Gallery, three courtyard cottages and our three apartments are here for longer lets.

Your accommodation will be prepared to our usual high standards ready for your stay.  Note that extras (cake, wine) that come with our full-priced holiday stays are not included with longer lets.

The best choice for single occupancy, couples and with older children. Shared sunny roof terrace.
