Are you open this winter? YES, but only for residential (not holiday) stays up to 5 months, or 2nd April 2021.  

Furnished or unfurnished? Your accommodation will be fully furnished and prepared to the highest “We’re Good To Go” standards with everything included (pots, pans, cutlery etc)

What about bedding? Unless you wish to bring your own bedding, we will make up all the beds and leave a spare set of linen.  Any additional housekeeping or cleaning will be at extra cost. 

What about bills? Your bills will be included in the one price – heating, electric, gas, water, Virgin Media cable TV, wi-fi, refuse collection, recycling, external window and communal area cleaning/ lighting, TV licence etc.

Council Tax? Agents Fees? Referrals? Deposit? You will not have to register for Council Tax and there will be no other fees, deposits, guarantors etc

What about Coronavirus?  We have acquired the Industry Standard mark “We’re Good to Go” from Visit England for our cleaning protocols and social distancing measures. You must observe current national and local restrictions. Click her

What about shared facilities such as the sauna and hot tub? These will remain closed. 

What is the minimum/ maximum stay and notice period? To comply with Government rules, the minimum is 31 nights and the maximum 155 nights (or 2nd April).  We ask for you to pay four-weekly in advance and give us four weeks notice.

How much? Our winter residential lets are a lot cheaper than holiday stays, because our costs are lower. Prices may initially appear more expensive than an Assured Shorthold Tenancy, but remember that all your costs are included with us.  You won’t be tied to a 6 or 12 month fixed contract and won’t have to sign-up with the electric, water, gas and telephone companies etc. VAT is not payable on low-season residential lets


The Main House will not be available but The Old Gallery, three courtyard cottages and three apartments are here for winter lets.

Your accommodation will be prepared to our usual high standards ready for your stay.  Note that extras that come with our full-priced holiday stays (cleaning materials, spare toilet rolls, tea tray, cake, wine etc) are not included with longer winter lets..
