The Rombalds Apartment offers spacious first floor accommodation with fabulous views across Ilkley Moor, Ilkley and Wharfedale.

With three large bedrooms this unfurnished apartment covers approximately 130 square metres (1400 sq ft) and has access via the second floor to the shared tower and outdoor roof terrace, with its wonderful panoramic views!

We are now only offering winter lets from November 2021 until March 2022. There is a special rate for a minimum stay of 12 weeks, (first four weeks paid on booking and then 4-weekly in advance). Unlike our other properties, The Rombalds is unfurnished (except for wardrobes and white goods). Electric, gas and water are metered and charged at cost. This spacious and stylish first-floor 3-bedroomed apartment has large rooms and high ceilings. Indeed, the floor space is around 30% bigger than our 3-bedroomed cottages. This property is predominantly unfurnished except for wardrobes in the bedrooms and white goods in the kitchen. The apartment boasts a traditional, grand Victorian feel with its original sash windows, archway and window balconies but its light décor and sunny disposition make for a beautifully bright and elegant home.

Its fully fitted south-facing dining-kitchen has views across to Ilkley Moor and a fixed breakfast table big enough for all the family. The kitchen has ample storage and work surfaces and comes equipped with an electric fan oven with modern hob, an American-style fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Adjoining the kitchen is a large lounge which enjoys views across to the Yorkshire Dales. The centrepiece is the original Victorian fire surround and there’s space for a dining table in the corner too. There’s a Freesat connection point and box with around 175 TV and radio channels pus BBC iPlayer and other catch-up services. It’s also compatible with your own Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube accounts.

There are three large bedrooms, all with spectacular views, the master bedroom having an en-suite shower room and Freeview TV point. There’s also a separate family bathroom with a bath and large shower. All three bedrooms have wardrobes included.

The entrance lobby is ideal for coats and boots and the open landing area lends itself to a neat home-office set-up. There is high speed Virgin Media Wi-Fi and USB connection sockets for recharging gadgets.

Due to popular demand from those not wanting to put their own furniture in store, we’ve made The Rombalds an unfurnished apartment except for wardrobes in the bedrooms and white goods in the kitchen. The apartment is fully equipped with carpets and curtains/blinds, but you’ll need to bring your own beds, chests of drawers, sofas, dining table/chairs as well as pots and pans, crockery, bedding and towels.

A reserved parking space is included in the front car park plus several unreserved spaces too. For commuters, it’s just a 10-minute walk down the hill to Ilkley train and bus station and all Ilkley schools are within walking distance. If you love open countryside, our location is hard to beat as our gate leads directly onto Ilkley Moor.

In summary, The Rombalds is ideal for anyone seeking space, high standards of décor, privacy and fabulous views, with easy access to the town and countryside.
